Our goal is to work together with the student and their family, and act as a mentor who will instill good character, strong leadership, organizational, social, goal setting and study skills. The strategies and activities that we implement throughout the program assist the student in becoming a leader in their school and community.
4 Easy Steps to Inviting New Members
1. MOD directors plan the date of the Speed Interviews and Parent Meeting.
The speed interviews and parent meeting should happen simultaneously on the same night. While candidates are going through the speed interview process, their parents are in another room where a presentation providing information on the MOD program at your school is being given. The Administrative Director leads the Parent Meeting with the parents. The Activity Director leads the Speed Interview with the candidates.
2. Give each prospective member an Invitation Letter.
Invitation Letter shares information on the date of the Speed Interview and the Parent Meeting. The Invitation Letter needs to be signed and returned stating the student and legal guardian will attend.
3. Collect all Invitation Letters signed by parents.
In order to plan Speed Interview & Parent Meeting Activities the directors need to know how many will attend.
4. Remind prospective members often of the speed interview and parent meeting date.
