Sending out the S.W.A.G. Challenge #2
A man named Mark Victor Hansen once said, "By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. "Who is it that you want to be?" In order for us to work together towards achieving your short term goals WE MUST WRITE THEM DOWN. We must have a point of reference, a written guide that we can both look at when the going gets tough, or maybe just in case we forget.
3 East Steps to Sending Out S.W.A.G. Challenge #2
1. Give each member a copy of S.W.A.G. Challenge #2 Students with Achievable Goals.
(Attached should be the Goals Essay Outline.)
2. Read over the S.W.A.G. Challenge #2 and Goals Essay Outline.
Allow students to share any questions, or feelings they might have about the writing assignment.
3. Write the essay aloud as a mentor/mentee group.
allow students to share their thoughts, sentences, and goals aloud. Each essay should turn out similar in syntax but different in diction. Everyone should be writing the same ideas, the same author's attitude and purpose, yet striving for different individual goals. (Plan may take more than a week)
